Hallway Buying Tips
- When planning storage solutions consider how much closed, glass display and/or open storage is required
- Is cupboard space more useful than drawer space?
- If space is at a premium for opening doors are sliding doors worthy of consideration?
- Reduced depth wardrobes generally do not allow clothes to hang from left to right. However a pull-out “trombone rail” can be specified to allow for items to hang from back to front
- Is shoe storage important?
- Do coats etc need to be hidden from view in a cupboard or wardrobe or is it possible to leave them on show
- Is there space for a wall mounted mirror possibly over a shoe cupboard or drawer unit?
- Is integrated lighting required? Lighting can be specified for most ranges either in the form of integrated lights or for possibly forward protruding lighting used on wardrobe cornices or shelving systems
