Room Planning Tips

TWe would be delighted to help you plan your room whilst you are with us and are viewing our extensive displays in our studio.

The more information you can bring with you the better we can help plan your room and the more accurate we can be for the likely price.

The sort of information that would be useful for you to prepare and bring is:

  • The room dimensions with window, door, radiator positions etc marked and measured
  • Don’t forget to measure the ceiling height
  • Is there a cornice, if so how high is it?
  • Are there skirting boards, what depth are they?
  • Is access to the room tricky?
  • Are the walls solid (brick or block work) where the furniture is to be installed or are they a partition wall constructed of plasterboard on a timber or metal frame or traditional lath and plaster construction
  • Make a note of the page numbers from the hulsta brochures of the layouts that would be appropriate for you. It is also helpful to make a note of the layouts that you do not like
